Jake
Education Lead
I’ve been a paramedic since 2017, working on emergency ambulances before taking on a role as a specialist paramedic in the Emergency Operations Centre. Following this, I began working with North West Enhanced Care Team. Around the same time, I also started delivering First Aid at Work courses, which sparked my interest in teaching. Alongside this, I gained my teaching qualifications and am now completing my PGCE. For the past two years, I’ve worked in the education team at North West Ambulance Service, where I deliver paramedic inductions and train ambulance technician apprentices. I’m passionate about teaching and take great pride in helping students develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to deliver the highest standards of patient care—always treating patients with the same compassion and professionalism I’d want for my own family.
